Help us send our first team to Cooperstown, NY in August 2025! 

South Boston Little League is looking to rally support from the community and local business to help with a special fundraising effort to send our twelve-year-old travel team to Cooperstown, NY next summer.

 

Cooperstown is the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame and has been hosting summer baseball tournaments for over 30 years. These tournaments are extremely popular, and teams come from all over for this once in a lifetime experience. We would like to start a new tradition for South Boston Little League to enter their 12-year-old summer travel team, and this team would be the inaugural trip.

 

The cost for this trip is considerable, as the team will stay on campus for an entire week and includes special events like visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. We are reaching out to our supporters to help us hit our fundraising goal of $20,000. Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated.  Our “Grand Slam” donors who contribute $400 or more will be recognized on commemorative shirts that we will have made to for this truly special event.
